Meet the Founders & Faculty
Co-founder of Crisis Intervention Hotline in Sacramento, with his father, James V DiGirolamo, a school psychologist, Jim served as its director for five years. For over twenty years he has managed a successful private practice as a behavioral therapist, specializing in mind-body techniques, and clinical hypnotherapy. Because of the tremendous need of expedient results in therapy, he has created an innovative half-hour therapy session; a radical departure from the standard one-hour session which most therapists use today. He is an advocate for behavioral therapy and the mind-body approach to healing and personal empowerment. He believes that the power of true healing lies within each of us, and only needs to be tapped through the mind-body connection/techniques. With his creative approach to alternative healthcare, he is continuously evolving with new innovative programs to help people resolve challenging personal problems. Jim's series of "Attunement for Life" audiotapes has helped many relax and de-stress and gain better resilience in life. The tapes have been carefully engineered with specifically composed music and subliminally mastered therapeutic instructions used for a multitude of personal problems and alternative ways of de-stressing.
